I am originally from the East Coast and completed my undergraduate coursework at Boston College with a B.S. in Biochemistry. I went on to study medicine and earn my M.D. from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY.

 

Following medical school, I completed residency training in Anesthesiology and fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I became a Diplomat of the American board of Anesthesiology and Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine in 2014.

 

In addition to my post graduate training, I have worked as a physician with Partners in Health at Butaro Hospital in rural Rwanda and have served as expedition physician for National Geographic Expeditions. Most recently I have completed my Medical Acupuncture training with a concentration in pain management through the Helms Medical Institute and am excited to treat acupuncture patients at The Chen Center.
